this app requires Internet access when u're using it so make sure u're connected to ur Wifi or have Data enabled.

How To Use This App:

Just open the app and take a picture of any image or object u want. By the way u can even take pictures of stuff on the newspaper or magazines, u dont need to take a picture of the real thing.
Let's take this picture for example:

This will appear, and if u press the option below, u'll get this(see image below)

Of course, not all images can be scanned properly. I actually dont use this function of the Goggles.
I usually use Goggles to scan barcodes or QR(Quick Response) codes.

QR codes can contain tonnsssss of information like text, links, address and etc!

Pros: 3.7" S-LCD capacitive screen, 5MP camera with LED flash, 720p video recorder (HD), Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread, 512MB RAM, 2GB ROM(big internal memory to download a ton of apps), fast and responsive performance.thanks to the 1.4GHz Single Core CPU, Wifi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, Reasonable price, front-facing camera for video calls (on 3G and wifi).

Cons: i doubt this phone will receive the Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 update, but I expect developers out there to port ICS to this phone anyway, dual-core is all the rage nowadays but i think a 1.4GHz single-core is okay as well

  

My say: Samsung is at it again,they make 1 super-duper great phone (like the Samsung Galaxy S, Galaxy S II) and then they make hundreds of variants that is so confusing to the public.

Now there is the Galaxy R, Galaxy Z, Galaxy S Plus, Galaxy SL. pening weiiii!!

Rant ends. hehe

Anyway, the Galaxy W is supposedly an update(or big brother) of the infamous Samsung Galaxy Ace. the specs are upgraded in every area except for the rear camera resolution.

For under RM1000, this phone is definitely one of the best in market. Its spec sheet is commendable and its price tag is el-cheapo! I actually recommend this over it's 4" screened elder brothers(Galaxy S i9000, Galaxy SL i9003, Galaxy S Plus) cuz i think the S1 series has a lot of filing and performance issues(laggy) that the Galaxy W has overcome.

If you're looking for a phone under RM1000, then this phone is definitely ThePhoneForYou!

[NEWS] iPhone 4S

The news that everyone has been waiting for has arrived!

and frankly, we're a little disappointed...

Though we appreciate the processor n RAM n camera upgrade, but Apple should have gone all the way and come up with the iPhone 5 with the rumored bigger n better screens.

The iPhone 4S has great specs! dont get me wrong! but its similar to Samsung Galaxy S II. dont ya think?
and the SGS2 came out in May! so Apple had and extra 5 months to come up with something better than SGS2 and it even fails at doing that.

as the small screen (3.5") is really not comparable to SGS2's 4.3" SuperAMOLEDplus screen or HTC Sensation XE's 4.3" S-LCD screen..

Well, at least u can use ur iPhone 4 casings on ur new iPhone 4S! saves u abit of money, huh?

My say: Blackberry fans will love it, non-Blackberry fans will be curious why Blackberry even have fans. Sorry to say, I am not a Blackberry fan because i think for its meager specs, it is wayyy too overpriced. and u also cant use this phone to the fullest UNLESS u subscribe to BIS/BBM.

After a few days of using this phone, u automatically feel like an important person. constantly removing the phone from the pouch to check on ur emails and other notifications. Or is it just me..? haha

This phone is not for everyone. However, if you are a serious e-mail junkie and need push email and use BBM frequently, then this phone is ThePhoneForYou!

My say: The best budget droid, in my opinion now has a Gingerbread update! What you get with the new Gingerbread update as compared to the previous Froyo OS on the phone

• improved battery life 
• ability to transfer most apps to SD

Its not a lot of improvement/changes but at least its something..and u know Samsung's doing something to ensure that your phone is up-to-date. 

One of the best droids under RM900, it has all the standard connectivity available. It also looks like the iPhone 4 abit, and its specs are good for its price. If you are a newbie to Android, then this phone is definitely ThePhoneForYou!
