HTC Wildfire - SOLD

Item: HTC Wildfire (Black)

Specs: Refer Here

Package includes: FULLSET. Phone, Battery, Handsfree, USB Cable, Charger Port, Micro SD 2gb, Screen Protector applied

Price: RM730.00 (NEGO) - SOLD

Warranty: SiS Set. (Original) 2 Years. Expires 2nd March 2013

Dealing method: COD only.

Location of seller: Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Sepang, Bangi, Subang Jaya, Puchong

Age of item: Bought on 3rd March. So 25 days from date of this post! =D

Item(s) conditions: Great condition. Seriously like new. no scratches at all. only abit dusty XD. 100% working, 99% outlook

My say: considered the "mini" version of the popular HTC Desire, the HTC Wildfire is a compact yet feature-packed smartphone with all the connectivity requirements as well as a 5mpx camera. It has a very small internal memory therefore a micro SD of minimum 2gb is required. slightly laggy, but not to the extent of throwing it out.

Its big brother, the HTC Wildfire S (link), has already been announce last month but has yet to reach our shores. but there's no significant changes. only a slightly higher CPU at 600MHz and RAM at 512MB, but the screen is still the same...so u dont need to look forward to it much.

Pros: Reasonable price! 5mpx camera WITH flash! Updated to Android 2.2 Froyo. has GPS, compatible with many apps, solid built(weighs 118g), reasonable 384MB RAM, user friendly - packed with HTC Sense UI(User Interface), complete connectivity

Cons: no secondary(front-facing) camera for making video calls, not the smoothest of phones(in terms of operation) because only 528MHz CPU, poor screen image quality

the best Tablet

a follow up to my previous post,
if u are looking for a tablet, u might want to look at this

a specifications comparison between the Apple iPad 2, Motorola Xoom, LG G-Slate and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

personally, i'd pick the Galaxy tablet as the best of the 4, or the Motorola Xoom...

if i have the money la..hahah

just want everyone to know that there is such a thing as OPTIONS when choosing a tablet...

Apple is not the only gadgets manufacturer in the world, mind u
=P

the buzz on iPad

Since iPad 2 was announced early this month, everyone is looking for the next big gadget
iPad 2 has NOT been officially announced here in Malaysia, therefore there are NO original sets.
if u see ppl selling ipad 2, it is an IMPORTED set, therefore warranty may or may not be covered.

i dont get what the fuss is all about with ipad 2...its almost the same as ipad 1, only abit thinner, a fraction faster and with horrible back and front cameras...and the best part is the price is amazingglllyyy EXPENSIVE!
(sorry, i am no Apple fanboy)

ipad 2 wifi 16gb is selling at RM2400! MINIMUM!
ipad 2 wifi + 3G 64gb is selling at RM3400!!!

gila dowh.

since ipad 2 is made available in Malaysia, it has caused a flux of ipad 1 in the market.
there are very little ipad 1 available, and even if it is available, it'll burn a hole in ur pocket because ipad 1 is considered a rarity at the moment.

So, if u are planning to buy an ipad soon, either ipad 1 or 2, my suggestion is that u wait for the ipad 2 to be OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED here in Malaysia, where i expect the price for ipad 2 to stabilize abit and the price for ipad 1 to drop further.

remember, good things come to those who wait.

Data Plan

Are u an owner of a smartphone?
Are u a Facebook/Twitter addict?
Do u always hang out at places where there is WiFi connection?
Do u have the constant need to update your status and tell everyone what u're currently doing?

If you are, then constant connectivity is what you really need.

A smartphone is not complete without a data plan.

Fortunately, i have a data plan for my smartphone, even though I am using Hotlink prepaid.

If you are a prepaid user, and u want mobile internet, u either have to get WiFi connection or subscribe to ur telco's mobile internet, with costs varying depending on the length and data quota(limit) of the plan.

for Celcom UOX - Daily broadband - RM5
weekly broadband - RM18..not sure of the data quota for both plans

for Hotlink - refer pic below. taken from Hotlink website.

I am a Hotlink user and I am on 500MB/month data plan.
and I only pay RM130 for the whole YEAR and get 500MB EVERY MONTH.

which is cheap considering that if u subscribe to Hotlink's monthly 500MB pass, u need to pay RM68 every month. (refer pic above)

since i only pay RM130 for the whole year, u can say that i only pay RM10.83/month. ASK ME HOW. =D

as u can see from the picture below, I have only used about 70MB worth of packet data, and i have 2 weeks left before it expires and renews itself. so 500MB worth of data is more than enough for me.

for more information on how to acquire this plan, do email me at maliqqq07@gmail.com
=D

[EDITED: The Hotlink service that i am currently using has been discontinued. I guess I'm kinda lucky for having gotten it early(like 2 months ago). Sorry for the inconvenience caused! =/ ]

Say NO to Jalan Raja Laut

If u're looking for a brand new Blackberry,
do NOT - and i repeat, DO NOT go to Jalan Raja Laut, Kuala Lumpur to search for ur brand new BB
though the price that they're offering may be attractive, but chances are, those so-called "new" sets that they're selling are recon or refurbished Blackberrys
and one problem after another will arise..
seriously.
Many buyers have complained about buying recon sets that those sellers claim to be legitimate and authentic Blackberrys

Better safe then sorry people, and buy from trusted sellers.
you know, like ME. =P
